She was an eclectic person - loved art and music and books, sarcastic comments, occasional babies, environmentally-themed cartoons, and wheat germ.
She loved being an English teacher most of all.
She grew up in a tiny town in the Midwest, until she moved away to another tiny town in a different state to go to a tiny college.
She married this boy.
He loved art and being an English teacher, too.
He was always slightly confused by her wheat germ.
Their life was quaint, but filled with little adventures.
They moved into an above-store apartment, with all their books and their art and their second-hand furniture, her incense, and his ping pong paddles.
This adorable creature came to live with them.
She was pretty happy.
Especially when they fed her yogurt or Dum Dums.
Sometimes, she slept on their faces.
The girl realized that her love of thrift store shopping and piecing together outfits was actually important in her life, and found other people on the Internet who felt the same way.
So she started this blog.
